01The Story

Why we
exist

Tatweer Cybersecurity was founded in 2021 by three practitioners who kept watching the same pattern: organizations in the region buying security from abroad, then discovering that support, context, and accountability lived in another timezone.

The founding bet was simple. Capability engineered in-house can meet international standards. Not as a slogan. As a procurement decision a CISO can defend.

The name carries the doctrine. Tatweer means development and evolution, and we treat security the same way: capability you build, measure, and improve, not a product you buy once and forget. That conviction produced two divisions, two platforms, and a services practice that runs around the clock.

Two
divisions

One division protects clients today. The other builds what protects them tomorrow.

Division 01
Managed Security Services
The services arm. SOC operations, offensive and defensive security, GRC, incident response, education, and technology implementation. This is the team clients meet, staffed by certified practitioners who carry the work end to end.
Division 02
Research & Development
The engineering arm. HORUS and THE GATE are built here. Products ship as software and integrated systems on proven off-the-shelf and ODM hardware, because our value is the engineering, not the sheet metal.

principles

Principle 01
Engineered, not resold
Capability is built here, owned here, and answerable here. When something breaks at 03:00, the people who can fix it are in the same timezone as the people it affects.
Principle 02
Proof over promises
We point at certifications, frameworks, and running systems. If a claim cannot be measured or demonstrated, it does not go in a proposal.
Principle 03
Development as doctrine
Innovation is continuous improvement, not buzzword theater. Every engagement should leave the client's own team stronger than we found it.
Principle 04
Accessible authority
Deep expertise delivered in plain language. A board member and a SOC analyst should both understand what we did and why it matters.

Nasr Al Nabhani

Office of the CEO

Leading with vision

Nasr brings over a decade of experience across engineering, finance and cybersecurity. As Co-Founder and CEO he has shaped Tatweer into a company that moves past conventional security practice toward integrated security design and proactive defence.

He holds a Bachelor's in Mechatronics Engineering and a Master's in Entrepreneurship. His background in banking, as a Corporate Relationship and Product Manager, gives him a working foundation in institutional risk and in building trusted, high-level partnerships.

True to what Tatweer means — development and evolution — he is driving the shift from reactive, fragmented tooling to a model where security is built into the core of a system from the ground up.

Ammar Al'Mamari

Corporate Operations Division

Built on trust & integrity

Ammar leads corporate operations, with deep experience in governance, policies and procedures, and digital transformation. He plays a central role in embedding structured, ethical frameworks across the way the company runs.

His background in risk management and regulatory compliance has been instrumental in strengthening internal controls, standardising policy frameworks, and holding consistency and accountability across the organisation.

He argues that ethics in cybersecurity reaches past compliance — it is about building trust, safeguarding stakeholders, and making security, privacy and accountability foundational rather than box-ticking.

Saqar Al'Maskari

Innovation & Technology Division

Research and innovation

Saqar is the technical force behind the company's engineering. As Co-Founder and Chief Research & Development Officer he leads R&D, driving the design of high-performance network infrastructure and custom-built security systems.

He holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science and specialises in building tailored security technology — from hardware firewall appliances through to Zero Trust platforms that hold up at scale.

He brings hands-on experience deploying enterprise-grade infrastructure and running complex multi-tenant environments, and leads the platform engineering behind the company's products.
